Good Morning!
I am so excited to share with you this simple and easy recipe for pancakes. I do love my pancakes, but I never was able to find a healthy and clean recipe that was truly delicious-till now.
Now, I crave these little beauties when I wake up. The best part about them is the fiber and protein. This combo keeps me satisfied and my belly full till lunch. First, let me give you some details on this beautiful superfood.
Chia Seeds
- Packed full of fiber
- Omega 3
- Calcium source
- Antioxidants
- High in protein
Try these pancakes out and let me know what you think (I know you will love).
Ingredients
2 Eggs
3 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 Banana Mashed up
1.Grab a medium bowl and whisk those eggs up.
2. In a separate bowl mash up your banana. Add mashed up banana into egg bowl.
3, Stir in chia seeds and mix all together. Sprinkle with some cinnamon if desired. Let the mixture sit for 2 minutes.
4. Warm a pan up on a medium heat. Spray pan with cooking spray and heat over medium heat. Add your ingredients to the pan and flip when you see bubbles forming in the middle.
My favorite way to enjoy these cakes is with a drop of pure maple syrup. You can also spread jam on top. Either way, they are beyond tasty!
Take a few minutes while enjoying these pancakes to really be present and give gratitude for this goodness you are fuelling your body with.
So delicious and the perfect way to start your day.

My breakfast when putting muscle on ( way back in my 20’s) was : oatmeal pack, scoop of cottage cheese, egg and a couple choc chips… every morning! I can see these very simple pancakes becoming a new fav for me too!
