Hi guys!!! Going to be 100% honest- I have a love/hate relationship with Sephora. I'm such a girly girl and love looking at all the beauty products in the store. However, I find myself easily overwhelmed when I'm trying to figure out what I need for beauty products and how to use some of the items. So many brands, kits, and tools. I get overwhelmed quickly.
I was a lucky girly who got to have a personal shopper with me and navigated me through the aisle of Sephora to find some amazing makeup and beauty products. So many items- I needed help. This is where the beautiful Chelsea came to my rescue.
Chelsea Glasow is a makeup artist and lashes tech. She is the lady behind Allure Beauty By Chelsea and she is a pretty amazing girl who knows her stuff. I first met Chelsea through a friend and have had the privilege of her doing my makeup. This girl is the real deal and is amazing at doing makeup. Check her out here http://www.allurebychelsea.com
So, off we ventured to Sephora to do some shopping. Our friend, Sara Jewell came with us to snap some beautiful photos during this experience (we may have shared a few giggles on this little adventure).
This post was by no means sponsored. It was Chelsea helping a struggling girl (me) through the store finding what I needed and how to use these products. This Sephora haul was a real treat! Here’s what it included:
Farsali Unicorn Essence Serum
This product is a game changer. It’s a serum and can be used as a makeup primer. Once you start using a primer, you won’t go back. A primer is a base for your makeup. It helps to moisturize the skin and give you a smooth canvas for your makeup to go on beautifully. Primers are also great for making your makeup last longer. To apply, use your fingertips and apply a small amount evenly over the face. I love that this product can be used as serum and a primer. I did a post on why I’m serious about serums in my Skin Care Routine
Free of parabens and sulfates you will be hooked.
IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream
This product is one I adore-I’m a big fan of it. It gives me full coverage and protects my skin with SPF 50+ UVA/UVB broad-spectrum physical sunscreen. This cream is incredibly hydrating and I apply it with a beauty blender. Once I put on this cream my skin looks dewy and fresh- I will take that plz.
Buxom PlumpLine Lip Liner
This lip liner works wonderfully to contour and fill in lips. The best part of this is pencil is that it can be used as a full lip color. The built-in brush on the end is great for blending. Leaving your lips happy and gorgeous.
Bite Agave Lip Mask
A mask for my lips? I couldn’t be happier. This hydrating mask can be used day or night to hydrate and repair. I love the slight tint and the mask is made without parabens, sulfates, or phthalates. I adore this product and always have it close by. If I want to add a bit more color for an evening look, I will line the lips with the matching pencil. Trust me here, you will love this product.
Benefit Cosmetics Badgal Bang Mascara
Volumizing mascara. Creates massive volume without weighing your lashes. Very lightweight. When applying wiggle at the root and bring it up-voila! Instant lovely lashes.
Too Faced Bronzer Chocolate Soleil
Tinted with cocoa butter and packed with antioxidants- yes, please. Sculpting the face is easy with this product. Goes on great and blends nicely. Chelsea recommends to use with a fluffy brush and apply in the shape of a 3 (cheekbones, temple, and hairline area). This bronzer can be used to contour when applied with a smaller more defined brush.
Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray
I never used a setting spray before and I thought it was an extra product that was not needed. Well, let me just say I was wrong. A setting spray is like your final touch on your makeup routine. It gives you a fresh, cooling spritz that holds your makeup in place. Give yourself a few spritzes and you are good to go.
Sephora Collection Face Mask
Possibly one of my favorite things in life is to give my skin some extra TLC with a good face mask. I love the benefits of a sheet mask to deliver beautiful products deep into the skin. This products work to moisturize, brighten, and even out fine lines. Sheet masks can be used a couple times a week for a refreshing treatment. To use, place the cotton sheet mask on washed face. Leave on for 15 minutes or as directed. Remove and massage in any extra product. No rinse needed.
Such a fun experience this trip was. I’m loving all the products Chelsea suggested. You can also shop Chelsea’s makeup line http://www.allurebychelsea.com

Ok, so now it’s your turn- is there any beauty products that you adore and can’t live without? I’m all ears for any suggestions.
With love,
