What if I told you there was something you could sip on to improve health and radically boost your metabolism? Insane, right?! It's so simple and so good, you'll wonder how you ever went a day without it. Matcha green tea powder is my new obsession. This little powerful powder will quickly become a favorite after you try it and find out about all the beautiful health benefits of it.
So what is matcha green tea? Glad you asked!

Matcha is a powdered green tea.   When you are drinking matcha, you are consuming the entire green tea leaf which makes it higher in antioxidants.

Authentic matcha is made from the plant Camellia sinensis. To make matcha, the plants are shaded for the last month before they get harvested. By reducing the amount of sun exposure, the process increases chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is responsible for the vibrant green color of matcha and has so many health benefits.  How gorgeous is that green?

After this process, the best leaves are picked from the plant and are steamed and air dried. Then the dried leaves are ground into a fine powder.

So many ways to use this superfood. You can use it in smoothies, lattes, baking, or dressings. However you choose to use it, you are going to love it-trust me.
