Hello Fall!! We are a few weeks into fall and I'm fully into the warm and cozy drinks. But not just any drink will do. I'm all about keeping things healthy and balanced for fall.
Part of my wellness plan for the fall is to incorporate more tea into my lifestyle (Yay). But really, who doesn’t love drinking tea. Because I’m sipping on more teas, I was on the search for new ones to try. Well, guess what? I discovered my favorite new tea. It’s Chai Rooibos by Yogi Tea (so tasty). This recipe was easily created once I found this perfect tea.
It’s a warm and cozy fall beverage and is easy to make. No trip required to Starbucks here. Go ahead and make this tasty little number. 100% goodness in a cup.
4 Ingredients
1 chai tea bag
1 dash of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup almond milk
* If you want to sweeten this drink up, feel free to add 1tsp of pure maple syrup.
Directions
Boil water and add 1 tea bag to a mug. Let steep for 7 minutes.
In a small saucepan add almond milk, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Whisk together all ingredients till warmed up.
Using a blender, add all ingredients together and blend on high for 20 seconds or until frothy.
If you don’t have a blender available, try using a handheld frother. This works great too!
Besides my obsession with this tea, my children are loving it too. “Can you make me one too, Mom?” No problem. I’m happy to make them one as this tea is caffeine free and a tasty little treat.
Try it and let me know what you think. Totally Fall-ish? I know you will love it.
XOXO,
