Make a Plan
Holiday time or not, planning ahead is one of the best ways to stay consistent with a fitness routine.
Make it a Family Activity
Get the whole family included. Skating, skiing, sledding-anything that gets you up and moving.
Opt for 15-20 Minutes
Even if you plan ahead, you will likely not have much time for your workouts. The key here is to plan some shorter workouts. Alternating between cardio and bodyweight exercises.
Everything in Moderation
It’s ok to indulge for a day (or two) but not the entire season. Be mindful of your physical needs over desires.
Be Creative
Use the stairs whenever possible. Do extra laps at the mall. Shovel snow. While you are preparing holiday meals in the kitchen, do some squats, calf raises, and even dancing
